RACES IN NOVÉ MĚSTO WILL DOMINATE THE PROGRAMME OF CZECH TV
The weekend on the ČT Sport programme will be dominated by mountain bikes. The Czech public broadcaster is planning to provide their viewers with extensive coverage of the races, scope and length was exceeded only by the 2016 World Championships. As far as UCI World Cup, the time devoted to mountain bikes will break the record. 10 hours and 55 minutes of broadcasting, live coverage only! So strong is position of mountain bikes on the CT Sport programme that the last fixture of HET liga (football) was pushed by MTB World Cup in NMNM and the U23 Men race from CT sport to the CT2 programme.
The track will be covered by 24 cameras and three broadcasting vans. The experience for watchers in front of TV screens will be improved by the modern Technocrane technology (telescopic camera attached to a jib), or moving camera at the Rock’n’Roll section. The well-proven quartet of Kája Polívková, Tereza Němcová, Ján Svorada, and Jiří Lutovský will be the experts in studio. Reporters will bring interviews and insights of racers from behind the finish line and from the pit."
