TV COVERAGE FROM NMNM: 25 CAMERAS AND 11 HOURS OF LIVE BROADCAST
Of course, the best thing is to experience the crowds and atmosphere in Nové Město na Moravě live, being there, but if circumstances make it impossible for you to come to the top MTB event, the Czech Television and Red Bull TV are both available. Live coverage improves in quality every year, both as far as visual aspect and commentary is concerned. It is great thing that both Czech Television as well as Red Bull TV broadcast the races and help improve this Olympic sport by providing great experience and insights.
The Czech national broadcaster will cover the races in 2019 again. Staff consisting of more than 100 people will report about the event and provide live coverage not only to Czech public, but the visuals will be broadcasted into the whole world through Red Bull TV.
On aggregate, Czech Television will broadcast in the Czech Republic more than 11 hours of live coverage. It will begin with Friday’s Short Track races, on Saturday, viewer will have the chance to watch U23 categories, and of course, the highlight will come on Sunday: Women and Men Elite.
25 cameras in total shall be placed in various places in the stadium and along the course. “Another long Techno Crane TV rig will be added to the two that have become a tradition in Nové Město. It will be placed in the area of the new technical section called Vysočina Pump Track,” the head cameraman, Pavel Brynych, explained.
