OPEN MARATHON

Traditional public marathon will take place on Saturday afternoon. All the contestants will enjoy a proper marathon workout, while still not miss anything from the elite category XCC, XCM and XCO racing. The circuit is 60 km long with elevation gain of 1,250 meters: It passes the traditional natural attractions of the Vysočina Region such as Tři Studně, Devět skal or Medlov, and unlike the XCM World Cup race on Sunday it does not include the 2 most demanding technical sections of the course (around the summit of Devět skal & Lisovská). One day later the elite riders will compete here for the WC laurels!

Vysočina Aréna, southern part, top of the asphalt climb from the direction of "Černý rybník" pond. Viewing distance from the grandstand A.

Course

The circuit is 60 km long with elevation gain of 1,250 meters: It passes the traditional natural attractions of the Vysočina Region such as Tři Studně, Devět skal or Medlov, and unlike the XCM World Cup race on Sunday it does not include the 2 most demanding technical sections of the course (around the summit of Devět skal & Lisovská). Course marking

The course will be clearly marked starting from Tuesday, May 21.

Start Grid

The first wave of 20 starters according to the choice of the organizers. The others will be ordered upon their arrival at the start. The first wave can only be requested upon online registration by May 20, 2024, with due justification of your performance.

1.000 CZK (approx 40 EUR) with a One-day Ticket for general admission to the Vysočina Arena complex for Saturday - when registered and paid online until May 20, 2024
1.500 CZK (approx 60 EUR) with a Weekend Entrance Pass for general admission to the Vysočina Arena - when registered and paid online until May 20, 2024
1.250 CZK (approx 50 EUR) with a One-day Ticket for general admission to the Vysočina Arena complex for Saturday - when registered or paid online between May 20, 2024 and May 24, 2024 / 3pm
1.750 CZK (approx 70 EUR) with a Weekend Entrance Pass for general admission to the Vysočina Arena - when registered or paid online between May 20, 2024 and May 24, 2024 / 3pm
1.500 CZK (approx 60 EUR) with a One-day Ticket for general admission to the Vysočina Arena complex for Saturday - when registered or paid online or on site after May 24, 2024 / 3pm

If you have already purchased a ticket, within the registration process you can choose the Entry Fee without a ticket. Bear in mind that without a ticket you cannot get to the Arena for the RACE START and other services!

The fee includes timekeeping, result list, medical assitance, bag-storage during the race, bike wash and bike storage, technical service before the start and on the race course, three refreshment stations and light refreshments at the finish line. It does not include the entrance ticket for the entourage of the rider nor lunch after the race, there will be a catering area on site.

Cancellation

It is possible to cancel your registration until May 20, 2024 by email to the Race Director. The Entry Fee will be refunded minus a 50 CZK processing fee. After the given date the entry fee is non-refundable.

Rider Confirmation &
Late Registrations

Tent next to the main pedestrian entrance to the Vysočina Arena:

Friday, May 24, 4-7 pm
Saturday, May 25, 9-12 am

At the Rider Confirmation, all competitors will receive a starting number - it is required to attach a starting number to the front of the bike - the number contains a disposable chip for timing.

Upon the Rider Confirmation, all competitors will receive an appropriate entrance ticket (according to your choice of entry fee). Without this ticket you will not be able to enter the Arena for the start of the race.

Registered competitors will be prioritized.

Bike Storage

Free of charge - under the grandstand C in Vysočina Arena.

Parking

Free of charge - at the main visitor's parking area under the Harusův kopec skiing slope.

Time Limit

The time limit for the passage through the FZ2 Rumpoltův rybník (36 km) is 5:00 pm, after which the competitor's starting number will be taken away and he can continue along the route outside the race, without the right for secured course and refreshments.
The time limit for reaching the finish line to be included in the results is 7:00 pm.

Important Instructions, Equipment and Safety of Participants

Each participant must behave not to endanger health of other participants nor their own. Mountain biking is a demanding sport and each participant should seriously consider their readiness before the start of the race. Full protective helmet is mandatory!!! It is strictly forbidden to use an e-bike. All riders start at their own risk!
Participants younger than 18 compete at responsibility of their parents or team coaches. They will present their signed agreement at packet pick up at latest. Emergency service will be available on site. Closest hospital is about 3 km away in Nové Město na Moravě.
