UCI JUNIOR SERIES XCO / XCC
UCI Junior Series is the highest level of official XCO competitions for young riders. Race takes place on the standard XCO course: technical track full of obstacles, fast descents and challenging uphills. The riders race by a predetermined number of regular laps (established by the UCI Commissioner before the race according to the actual conditions on the track).
This year we NEWLY added to the program also the Junior Short Track (XCC) race. It will take place on Thursday, May 21st at 5 pm. First, there will be a 1-lap qualification, from which the 40 fastest riders will qualify to race in the final, which will be held immediately afterwards.

- UCI MTB World Series Teams: no need to register through MTB NMNM
- UCI MTB Teams: need to apply for the Wildcard through WBD, after they are awarded the wildcard they should register through MTB NMNM
- National federations & UCI MTB Teams supporting individual qualified riders & Non-registered teams: all have to register through MTB NMNM

The XCC race is OPEN to anyone and the results will not be reflected in the starting order of the UCI Junior Series XCO race

XCC applications by Tuesday 19. 5. 2026 23:59

After registration is closed, the XCC qualification starting list for one XCC round will be published on this website, with the exact starting times of individual competitors

For the XCC qualification, the following applies: competitors must be lined up in the pre-start corridor (with the possibility of riding on rollers) no later than 20 minutes before their start time

Competitors start with their shoes clicked into the pedals and hold on to the fence placed on the starting line with one hand
-
The best 40 juniors will advance to the subsequent mass race according to the qualifying times
-
The starting order of the XCC Finals is according to the XCC qualification results = 1–40
Entry criteria XCO

Entry is open to any UCI Junior license holder
-
Having obtained at least 20 UCI points (for riders in Europe) or 1 UCI point (for riders outside Europe) in the latest UCI XCO individual junior ranking is mandatory
-
National federations may enter a maximum of 5 supplementary riders per category (outfit for these riders is at the discretion of the national federation)
-
Except Europe, the national federations, of the same continent where the event takes place, may enter a maximum of 5 supplementary riders per category (outfit for these riders is at the discretion of the national federation)
-
The national federation of the organizing country, after consultation with the event organiser and considering the suitability of the course, may register supplementary riders from that country for team B. The maximum number of these additional riders, the selection criteria used to select them, and the uniform they race in is at the discretion of the national federation but must be clearly defined on the event website.

Riders belonging to a UCI ELITE MTB TEAM or a UCI MTB TEAM.
Nomination of competitors within the "Czech B Team" ("Czech Junior MTB Talent" project)

if the competitor has at least 10 UCI points on the closing date of the registration process for the JWS race in NMNM, i.e. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, he or she can register for the race within the "Czech Junior MTB Talent" project
-
competitors will enter the race in club jerseys

they will enter the race under the heading "Czech Junior MTB Talent", which they will indicate in the place of their club when registering for the race

they will complete the race, registration and accreditation process under the complete logistical and financial management of their teams or families

After Sunday, May 17: late booking fee of 750 CZK / 30 EUR per each race automatically applies

Payments possible only by card (payments in CZK from domestic bank account also by bank transfer).
Each rider will receive an accreditation for 1+1 person (competitor + 1 companion) for entry into the event venue.
Riders Confirmation
Before you are allowed to train on the race course, it is essential to first pick up your starting number at Riders Confirmation. You will not be allowed on the course without a number.

Start order for the XCO race
The start order is determined as follows:
1. As per the most recently published UCI XCO juniors individual ranking of the current season (or the final ranking of the previous season if no ranking has yet been published for the current season). >> All riders with UCI points, regardless of how they have been registered or have met the entry criteria. This will include the following:

Riders registered by the national federation, TEAM A with at least 1 UCI point

Riders registered by the national federation of the organizing country, TEAM B with at least 1 UCI point

Riders belonging to a UCI ELITE MTB TEAM / UCI MTB TEAM with at least 1 UCI point
2. Unclassified riders by rotation: The start order of the riders within the team must be confirmed by the teams during the rider’s confirmation. The start order among the teams is determined as follows:

First, national teams whose order is determined by the nations’ classification of the concerned category from the most recent world championships.

Second, unclassified national teams whose order is determined by drawing lots.
-
Third, UCI ELITE MTB TEAMS whose order is determined by the most recent team ranking.
-
Last, UCI MTB TEAMS whose order is determined by the most recent team ranking. The teams (in the order as mentioned above) are taken in turn with the teams’ first riders starting in sequence, then the teams’ second riders etc.
3. Unclassified riders team B of the national federation of the organizing country:

Awards Ceremony
XCC on Thursday: TOP 3 men and TOP 3 Women (& prize money for TOP 3: 100 - 75 - 50 EUR, will be paid out in cash in the Event Office).
XCO on Saturday and Sunday: TOP 5 men and TOP 5 Women (& prize money for TOP 10: 200 - 130 - 100 - 80 - 65 - 50 - 45 - 30 - 25 - 20 EUR, will be paid out in cash in the Event Office).
Doping Controls
The control will be performed in the building where the media center is located: behind the grandstand B – on the ground floor. Will be signed.
