This year, once again, the Nové Město tracks for World Cup competitions in XCC Short Track and XCO Olympic Cross-country will not remain unchanged.

The modern concept of the Olympic XCO discipline emphasizes providing an attractive spectacle not only for on-site spectators but primarily for those watching on television screens. And just as the discipline itself evolves, the track in Nové Město must keep pace to remain "IN."

Since 2011, when the first Mountain Bike World Cup was held in Nové Město na Moravě, the circuit has been gradually shortened. Even then, Nové Město introduced innovative features – one of which was the length of 4.1 km, which represented a significant reduction compared to the standards of that time. This year, the circuit will be 3.6 km with an elevation gain of 120 meters.

For this year, a jumping section called #VisitCzechia Grey Line (just after exiting the stadium and passing through the biathlon tunnel) has been re-added into the XCO lap and newly "shaped". Minor adjustments have also been made to the spectator-favorite technical sections Kraj Vysočina Rock'n'Roll and Kärcher Vertical Drop.

Shortening has occurred in the second half of the circuit, in a section called Events.com Expert Climb 2. It is now shorter but also made more attractive with three different line options – over roots, across a wooden bridge, or over stones.

Another significant innovation is the considerable extension of the jumping section called Whoop Escalator, located at the very end of the circuit, just before the asphalt climb to the finish straight.

The #VisitCzechia Grey Line and Whoop Escalator jumping sections will also be part of the circuit for the shortened XCO race, i.e., short track. The track measures 1,250 m, has an elevation gain of 40 m, and the dynamic terrain promises a very interesting spectacle, which will not lack dramatic and possibly even critical moments.
