Vysočina Arena is diligently preparing for the annual mountain bike festival, which will take place in 3 weeks, i.e. on May 24 - 26. What can you look forward to?
PACKED WEEKEND IN NMNM
Those of you who visit the NMNM World Cup regularly will certainly remember that in the past we have been always offering a rich program and racing of elite riders already on Friday afternoons. However, this year brings a slight change in the schedule. Although the program in the Arena will take place from Friday, "the main thing", i.e. all elite category races, will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Specifically, on Saturday it will be the Short Track World Cup (XCC) and public races Open Marathon and Night Race (+ UCI Junior Series for boys and XCO races in both U23 categories) to be held. Then on Sunday the World Cup in Marathon (XCM) and Olympic Cross-country (XCO) (+ UCI Junior Series girls). The program is therefore condensed into a busy weekend, which makes it another reason to visit Nové Město not only on Sunday, but also on Saturday. And those who choose to arrive already on Friday will not regret it either - the program will be more relaxed, but no less interesting. From 2 PM U23 Women and from 2:35 PM U23 Men will compete in Short Track, and there will also be a Bike Demos well underway, where you can try almost 300 different bikes of renowned brands!

REVISED LAYOUT OF THE STADIUM
The entire area of the Vysočina Arena underwent a major renovation last year, and thanks to this it offers above-standard visitor comfort. The new tribune optically closes off the stadium's racing area and offers beautiful views of the start/finish line and even more. The new arrangement of the stands will allow us to prepare an attractive secondary catering with an unrivalled location "on the roof" of the stadium. Having a beer or coffee here, practically directly above the finish LED gantry will be an experience! The new administrative building next to the biathlon shooting range (where the main catering will be) will allow the placement of an extra-large LED screen, so that everyone will have a great overview of what is happening on the track from the stands. Everyone will certainly appreciate the decent new social facilities.
A separate chapter is the creation of a new "square" behind the new grandstand E, thanks to which a completely new space appeared in the arena, clearly demarcated and more private. In short, ideal for holding various talk shows, discussions, or presentations. Here you can look forward to meeting interesting guests (Olympic gold and bronze medallist in snowbardcrosss Eva Adamczyková, famous Czech youtuber Trail Hunter and others), exhibitions (trials World Champion Vašek Kolář with his Vasha show) but also to a completely new program, which we named Tech News. Famous brands will have the opportunity to present their new top models here with the participation of their ambassadors. The presentation of the new Superior XF 9.9 TEAM by the favourite of the home audience, Jaroslav Kulhavy, and his teammate Filip Adel will certainly be interesting: guys will accompany their speech with the newest impressions from the recent Cape Epic. But even other brands such as Cannondale, Specialized, Scott and others will not be embarrassed and will present their bikes with the participation of interesting guests. Who would like to see the three-time World Road Champion Peter Sagan in this role? 😊
HOW TO ENJOY NMNM TO THE FULLEST? CHEER, RACE AND HAVE FUN!
In addition to the elite races on Saturday and Sunday, the entire weekend will be literally packed with an impeccable program. We have already talked about Bike Demos. It has swelled to unprecedented proportions and will offer 283 bikes for testing! Bikes will be prepared on Friday from 4 to 7 PM, on Saturday all day from 9 AM to 6 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM and the united reservation app is already up and running. Among the demo bikes you will find many attractive top models such as the new Specialized Epic 8, new models from Superior, Scott, Merida, Santa Cruz, BMC, Ghost, Giant and other great material!
Start lists for the open races are slowly filling up, the map and profile of the marathon on Saturday afternoon was published recently. On the other hand, for the Night Race we are deliberately keeping information about the course under wraps to make the experience of the competitors on Saturday night a little stronger and more fun for the spectators. In addition to the marathon, the entry fee is the cheapest until May 20 and it can be purchased including a ticket (both One-day for Saturday or the Weekend Entrance Pass). When purchased with a ticket, the price of the ticket until the specified date is "discounted" compared to the currently valid pre-sale price: : good motivation to ride your bike within the event a little, isn’t it?
HEADS UP, IT'S GOING TO BE ONE HELL OF A RIDE!
This year's first XC World Cups in Brazil showed that the elites are in this Olympic year super-evenly matched. Therefore, it is clear that we can look forward to a truly dramatic racing program and the biggest aces of the cycling world will not want to miss out!
